I know sex sells, but I wish they didn’t sexualise everything in society, both men and women. Bring back modesty and decorum; society would be a lot more beautiful then.

I saw the advert and thought it was two bald lads trying to peep over a fence 🤔

Exactly! They’re melting down over Sydney Sweeney’s hot ad, but had far more sympathy for Lindsay Clancy after she strangled her three children.

As the article notes, if Sweeney had killed kids instead of posing in a sports ad, half of them would probably be defending her. And if a trans-identified male had done the exact same commercial, it would suddenly be “brave” and “woman empowerment.”

The hypocrisy is staggering.

I do think there's a problem with women putting it all on display (not Sydney Sweeney specifically) and it's now at an epidemic proportion. I saw a young woman wearing very provocative knickers in a shopping centre this summer (most of her ass was on display and she had a great one, which she no doubt knew) the sort that in the past would only be for the bedroom or the beach.

Anyway, my main problem with it is the effect it has on men. It's a tease and young men especially are easily turned on a by an attractive woman showing all (it's biological reality), but of course if they approach they're likely to be told to f*** off, or you're harassing me or you're toxic. In other words they're making fools out of their men. No wonder young men these days are in a bad way!

And you can't say a word as women these days can do no wrong.

They should be told: If you're going to put the goods on display they should be for sale, if not keep them to yourself.

Exceptional and insightful commentary, Sarah - but the last paragraph (even though I heartily agree with it's sarcasm) - yikes! 😬 The people you are speaking of - who forgot to defend women's sports from being defiled by men who called themselves women - don't understand sarcasm...they could label you the witch that needs burning...hopelessly backward eejits...
