So sorry for your loss John. Your words were perfect. Many of us can relate directly and deeply to what you said. I hope your family are coping ok during this sad time but also take solace in the fact that you are all celebrating your Dads life, and clearly his mark was left on all of you.
I'm delighted so many in the community reached out. It shows that what you do matters a great deal to us. May I join others in offering my deepest condolences to you and yours. No matter how philosophical one gets about the death of a parent, it is still a shock and a sad time which only gets better over time.
My dad died when I was just a little bit younger than you, I am a lot older than you and I still miss him, and my mum, who, like you dad, lived long after his death until she was 80. It’s horrible and no can can truly feel what you are going through right now, even if they have been through it themselves. On a different note, keep up the good work that you have been doing. It gives me hope, as an Englishman, that fearless voices will not be silenced, despite relentless attempts by the establishment to shut them down.
Lovely words for your father John what a lovely peaceful way to pass so glad the community gathered around the family it really helps to get though the tough times and let's us know we're not alone.
