I think censorship has many more downsides than upsides. Once any authority, be it state or church go down the road of trying to decide what people can or cannot see by controlling access to information and influencing the behaviours of others (obviously except for crime) through legislation, then your earlier articles about the state constantly making our lives more difficult, or RTE trying to control the narrative on theirs and everybody else's channels; it becomes much easier for them to do. I take your point about the flow of information desensitising us, but I don't believe censorship is the answer.
